Intimate Waxing

Using specifically designed wax, we teach you how to perform this ever increasingly popular treatment. Using this wax with a gentle formula you will learn how to remove even the coarsest hair in sensitive areas.

No muslin or paper strips are necessary. You will also be introduced to the techniques of ‘pubic topiary’.
There are two workshops available, male and female. You must be an experienced waxer to attend this workshop – models are provided.

The Truth about Cosmetic Surgery and Non Surgical Aesthetic Treatments.

There is often much confusion about anti-aging procedures and their place within the beauty salon. Often clients will know more about these procedures than the therapist. In association with internationally recognised experts in the field of cosmetic surgery; this workshop aims to dispel the myths about cosmetic surgery and offers therapists the opportunity to understand the scientific basis for the use of muscle relaxation treatments (commonly known as Botox); fillers; volumisers and facial resurfacing. In addition you will find out the truth behind cosmetic surgery and what your clients need to know about the procedures; the principles of patient selection for cosmetic surgery and the range of procedures available.

One-day Appointed Person’s First Aid Course

The aim of the course is to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver basic life saving techniques in an emergency situation. It is designed for personnel who may be required to provide emergency aid to work colleagues until more qualified help arrives.
The course covers those areas required by HSE, which include a wide range of situations and how to deal with them.
