This mode of training is designed for learners who have already undertaken some form of beauty therapy or holistic therapy training. The contact hours are reduced and the concentration is on developing the practical skills required. Learners will be directed to study at home building upon the knowledge previously acquired. Learners should be expected to complete additional home study each week in order to complete the assignments.
Learners are able to attend any additional learning opportunity for as long as is required to help develop the skills and understanding required. In addition, the therapy room is available for learners use in order to practice and the school is able to provide clients.
Learners are able to access the City & Guilds Smart screen Website, Phoenix resource website and have access to their tutor for weekly telephone tutorial guidance.
There are a maximum of 4 learners in the group, however there needs to be at least 2 learners for the course to run. Course start dates are flexible and can be tailored to requirements.
The assessments can be booked on an individual basis and therefore and not subject to any time frames.
