City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy

To achieve a full diploma in Beauty Therapy at level 3, learners must achieve a minimum of 58 credits.

13 credits are achieved through the level 3 mandatory generic suite of units, these cover: Monitor & maintain health & safety practices; client care and communication; working with colleagues; promote and sell products and services to clients.

31 credits are achieved through 3 mandatory technical units: Provide Body Massage; Body electrotherapy & Facial electrotherapy treatments.

The additional 14 credits can be achieved through any combination of the following:

Provide massage using pre blended aromatherapy oils – 7 credits
Provide electrical epilation– 11 credits
Intimate waxing for male clients - 4 credits
Intimate waxing for female clients – 4 credits
Apply individual permanent lashes – 4 credits
Provide Indian head Massage – 6 credits
